Monopoly of foreign contractors playing exclusively major effect on energy trade throughout the country was absolutely ended in 1993 by establishing Parsian. Within one decade just 80 percent of the market was absorbed by this new generated company as a private sector element.

The measures which necessitated bearing a new company was not only production of energy but also transmission and distribution of power was another important parameter for procurement and execution by local contractors of high voltage substations from 63 to 400 kV voltage level, BOP electrical and mechanical for power plants, and industrial fields in all industry was the first duty of this new born company.
